Job Description:

Join our team as a telemetry nurse in Nashville, TN, for a 13-week contract where you'll focus on monitoring cardiac rhythms and ensuring patient safety through continuous telemetry surveillance. This role requires reading telemetry strips accurately, with a chance to demonstrate your expertise in arrhythmia interpretation and heparin distribution. The assignment offers night shifts of 12 hours, providing an opportunity to experience the quieter hours of hospital life while making a meaningful impact. Expect to float within your scope of practice and possibly work with charge nurses or preceptors, who will support your success throughout the assignment. Prior to start, you'll need to complete required certifications including BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), and NIHSS. Successful testing on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution is essential, and compliance clearance must be obtained at least 10 days before orientation. Please note, after three call outs, your contract will be terminated, emphasizing the importance of reliability for this position.
