Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity for an MS RN to work overnight shifts at a busy hospital in Evansville, IN. You will be responsible for managing a diverse Med/Surg patient population, including post-surgical cases, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and trauma-level II patients. Your primary tasks will include working with chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheters, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood administration, and tracheostomy care. The role emphasizes assessment and critical thinking—think of it as a puzzle where each patient is unique. Expect to float within your skillset to nearby campuses with minimal notice, and collaborate with experienced leadership and CNA support to deliver quality care. This position combines the rhythm of night shifts with the chance to develop your expertise in a structured, supportive environment.
