Job Description:

Join a rapidly paced Neuro ICU team at a distinguished short-term acute care hospital in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you'll be managing patients with complex neurological conditions such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, neuromuscular disorders, seizure activity, CNS infections, and neurotrauma cases. Your responsibilities include administering vasoactive medications, managing central and arterial lines, overseeing ICP monitoring devices like EVDs and bolts, and ensuring patient safety with spinal precautions. Expect to interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of your routine, with flexibility to float within your scope to meet unit needs. This assignment offers the opportunity to utilize your neuro-specific expertise in a level I trauma and teaching hospital setting. The night shifts are a robust 12-hour schedule, promising a rewarding and intensive experience that sharpens your clinical skills and deepens your neurocritical care knowledge. Short-term but impactful, this contract lets you immerse yourself in a specialized ICU environment that values precision and expertise, all while experiencing a lively city full of cultural and recreational activities.
