Job Description:

Join a busy OB/GYN clinic in Oakland as an RN specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, working in an ambulatory setting. This role involves performing non-stress tests (NST) using DVP ultrasound, which requires prior certification—training modules will be provided on start date, with the employee covering the training costs. Expect a mix of routine assessments like blood glucose monitoring, pulse oximetry, and medication reconciliation, along with pregnancy-related evaluations such as pregnancy checks, Foley catheter insertions, and fetal monitoring. The shift is Monday through Friday, 8-hour days from 08:30 to 17:00, offering a structured schedule over a 13-week contract period. This position is ideal for experienced OB/GYN nurses eager to enhance their skills in a vibrant outpatient environment, with a focus on patient assessments and procedural support rather than direct patient care.
