Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a specialized Stroke and Heart Failure Unit in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for a 13-week travel assignment that offers a balanced mix of professional challenge and rewarding patient interaction. This role focuses on providing expert nursing care to patients with complex neuro-cardiac conditions, including acute strokes and congestive heart failure, in a 42-bed unit staffed by highly trained nurses. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend off, and be prepared to float to other units and hospitals as needed. The setting offers an opportunity to refine your skills in managing neurological and cardiac diagnoses with precision and compassionate care, collaborating closely with cardiologists and neurologists to uphold best practice standards. This assignment is designed for nurses with at least 18 months of recent experience in a similar setting, holding current Alabama or Compact RN licensure, with certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH or Red Cross.
