Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a step-down unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in St. Louis. This role involves managing post-operative patients following abdominal transplants, hepatobiliary surgeries, ENT procedures, and trauma cases. You’ll experience a mix of telemetry, blood product administration, and complex clinical situations within a hospital setting that emphasizes teamwork and precision. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation, and you'll have opportunities to interpret EKGs, manage dysrhythmias, and work with advanced monitoring equipment—making it a rewarding challenge for those who thrive on technical skill and critical thinking. This assignment is unique for its focus on surgical and trauma recovery, offering a chance to build expertise in high-acuity care while working with a supportive team in a bustling Level Trauma hospital.

Job Specifics:

Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Shift: Night 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks, guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week with the possibility to sign for up to 48 hours weekly
Hourly Commitment: 48 hours per week
Additional Info: Must have at least 1 year of critical care experience, BLS, ACLS certifications, and pass the Relias EKG exam. Experience with Epic, telemetry, blood products, and complex post-surgical care is required. Open to float within scope of service line, and local candidates are not accepted unless they are outside a 75-mile radius. Pending license accepted, with no RTO restrictions exceeding 7 days.
