Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is in a pediatric and adult inpatient setting, where you'll work 12-hour rotating shifts—days and nights—providing specialized nursing care with a focus on Pediatrics. While pediatric experience is strongly preferred, candidates with recent Peds background and relevant certifications will thrive here. You’ll manage a variety of diagnoses such as UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD, often working alongside a dedicated charge nurse and nurse aides. Equipment troubleshooting, telemetry reading, and some RT equipment management are part of the daily routine. Collaboration and clear communication are key to success on this unit, which emphasizes teamwork and documentation accuracy. The unit’s staff enjoy a supportive environment where approachability and initiative are valued.
