Job Description:

Join the team as a specialized Wound Care and Ostomy Nurse at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. You'll focus on managing complex wounds, ostomies, and traumatic injuries within an inpatient, acute care setting. Your day will involve assessing, measuring, and classifying various types of wounds, performing dressing changes, wound vac treatments, and patient education. This role offers a chance to apply your expertise with all types of surgical and traumatic wounds, including ostomy care, ensuring patients receive top-tier treatment. The schedule features eight-hour days from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no weekends, call, or holidays—allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Experience with EPIC and prior travel assignments are preferred, but your primary focus will be on wound and ostomy management with a team that values your specialized skills.
