Job Description:

Join a renowned level I trauma teaching hospital in Portland, Oregon, as a step-down RN focused on neuro patient care in a newly opened unit. In this role, you'll work 12-hour night shifts overseeing patients recovering from neuro conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-craniotomy surgeries, and those requiring ventilator or vasoactive management. This assignment offers the opportunity to operate within a specialized team managing complex neuro cases, with a chance to float within the acute care division to support broader departmental needs. While the focus is on critical neuro recovery, you'll experience the challenges and rewards of caring for patients with diverse neurological needs. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, offering a steady 36 hours per week and compelling weekly gross earnings. Apply your skills in titrating vasoactive drips, managing ventilated patients, and handling specialized equipment, all within a facility known for its magnet designation and advanced trauma care.
