Job Description:
This Cath Lab Tech position offers an engaging contract working in a high-energy cardiac catheterization lab, primarily focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as TAVRs, PCI, and EP studies. As a vital part of the team, you'll operate X-ray equipment, prepare sterile fields, and manage case-specific devices during complex cardiac procedures. The role requires a tech who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and confidently handle diagnostic suites and hybrid OR settings. Expect to be involved in a variety of cases including coronary artery disease, shock conditions, and advanced heart failure scenarios. The workload is balanced with 10-15 cases daily within a supportive department, and you'll be part of a team that values precision and efficiency in every procedure. The position encourages a professional yet approachable atmosphere where your expertise makes a direct impact on patient outcomes without the direct patient care responsibilities.
