Job Description:

Join a dedicated Pediatric RN team on a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Decatur, IL. You'll work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, caring for a specialized 11-room, 16-bed pediatric unit. This role involves managing various pediatric med-surg and telemetry cases, including insulin administration, respiratory support, and feeding procedures such as breastfeeding assistance and NG tube placements. Expect to perform IV therapy, pediatric medication calculations, and infection control measures—bringing a mix of clinical expertise and a touch of playfulness to the night owl routine. The facility values experienced pediatric RNs who can float within scope when needed and hold active IL licenses or approved applications. This assignment offers a chance to hone your pediatric skills while working in a Level II Trauma center with a supportive team.
