Job Description:

Seeking an experienced LVN / LPN / RN for a 13-week assignment in a 14-bed overflow med/surg tele unit in Rochester, NY. This role involves supporting patient care in a flexible space inside a GI Endoscopy area, with duties including blood glucose monitoring, feeding tube management, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube upkeep, oxygen therapy, and patient mobility. RNs must have a mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement, as these skills are essential for the role. Flexibility with schedule and the ability to adapt to fluctuating patient demand are valued. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a setting that supports occasional float shifts and caters to both day and weekend coverage, all while engaging in truly meaningful patient support activities.
