Job Description:

Join a fast-paced 22-bed Observation Unit where you'll be at the heart of patient turnover, managing miscellaneous medical observation cases. This role involves overseeing common titratable and set rate drips, specifically Heparin, with occasional responsibilities as a charge nurse or house supervisor. You'll work within a unit that operates primarily under telemonitoring, with RNs reading strips and a reliance on central monitoring. The environment is lively and dynamic, offering a chance to refine skills in a high-volume setting while supporting a team of CNAs and other staff. Expect active participation in discharges—up to 16 daily—and admissions, all wrapped into a rewarding contract that keeps you engaged and on your toes.
