Job Description:

Join a fast-paced 22-bed observation unit in Albany, GA, as a travel healthcare professional. This assignment offers the opportunity to work on the Unit 2C Observation Unit, where you'll manage a variety of medical cases and perform titratable drips such as Heparin. The role involves occasional charge nurse responsibilities and navigating a monitored tele unit with central monitoring. Expect a schedule with 12-hour day shifts over a 17-week contract, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. You'll need to be comfortable working in a high-turnover environment, performing tasks like discharges (up to 16 per day), admissions, and ordering your own EKGs and labs. Certifications in BLS are required, with ACLS highly recommended. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented nurse looking for a dynamic and engaging assignment in a supportive team setting.
