Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers a 13-week assignment working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with the opportunity to engage in complex patient monitoring and care activities within a busy Level I trauma center. The role involves floating across MedSurg and related units to meet the hospital’s needs, providing vital support in areas such as telemetry, post-procedure care (including post angio and MI management), IV therapy, and wound care. You'll experience a fast-paced environment where quick thinking and adaptability are valued, and your skills in cardiovascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, respiratory, and neurological care will shine. This position allows you to contribute to a high-acuity setting, offering a balanced schedule with every other weekend work and an active Illinois license is required to apply. The assignment's unique blend of critical thinking and hands-on experience makes it an engaging challenge for experienced nurses ready to step into a prominent acute care hospital setting.
