Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Registered Nurses in this 13-week travel contract on a progressive care unit specializing in cardiovascular patients. You will be responsible for managing patients post-cath lab procedures, assisting with preparations for LVAD placements and transplants, and monitoring patients with a variety of co-morbidities. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, with a flexible approach to weekend work—travelers must be available to work approximately 50% of weekends based on unit needs. There is also an opportunity to serve as a charge nurse and precept students, offering a chance to showcase leadership and mentorship skills in a teaching hospital setting. This assignment is ideal for nurses experienced in trauma Level I settings, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, ready to handle cardiac drips, Sheath pulls, and telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced environment.
