Job Description:

Join a specialized medical unit focused on Neurosurgery and Neurodiagnostics in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patients with stroke, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions, including those in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Your role will involve IV starts, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and utilizing systems like EPIC and PYXIS. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work in a setting where neuro expertise shines, all while implementing your skills in a structured night shift schedule with 12-hour overnight shifts. Be prepared for frequent floating to other MedSurg/Tele areas, including COVID care units, and possible weekend work—if you call out, you'll be expected to make up those shifts. This role is perfect for experienced nurses looking for a dynamic and rewarding neuro-focused contract that challenges and enhances your skills.
