Job Description:

Join this fast-paced vascular ultrasound role within a busy department located in Weirton, West Virginia. You'll be performing a variety of general ultrasound procedures including OB, small parts, and vascular scans (upper and lower venous and arterial). The ideal candidate can multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment and is comfortable handling approximately 35 scans per day. Experience with arterial extremity Doppler and working with Siemens S2000 equipment is required. This assignment offers the chance to work alongside experienced radiology staff, utilizing EMR-Community Works and PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect systems. The schedule features 12-hour days on a rotating 2,2,3 shift pattern, totaling 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks, with weekend rotations and prorated holiday coverage. You will start IVs and are expected to be adaptable, maintaining professionalism in both dress and demeanor amidst a friendly team. The department is supervised by the Imaging Director and Manager, with in-house radiologist coverage until 5 pm and on-call interpretation overnight.
