Job Description:

Join a maternity unit where you'll experience the rewarding challenges of childbirth and postpartum care while working a 12-hour night shift. You'll be involved in high-acuity cases such as high BMI, diabetes, and substance use, with the opportunity to manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients. This role offers hands-on experience with an emphasis on clinical skills like titrating drips and utilizing OBIX electronic Fetal Monitoring systems. You'll collaborate with knowledgeable staff, including in-house neonatologists and anesthesia, and follow AWHONN guidelines to ensure best practices. Flexibility in scheduling, including self-scheduling shifts and rotating holidays, allows you to balance work and personal time. This assignment is a chance to deepen your expertise in obstetric nursing in a supportive environment that values autonomy and teamwork.
