Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Urology and Nephrology. This 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts (7:45 PM – 7:15 AM) on a 3x12 schedule. You will work on a 25-bed unit with an average daily census of 23 patients, providing direct care and engaging in procedures related to genitourinary and renal conditions, including dialysis management, IV therapy, and urgent response situations. Expect to float within scope to other Med/Surg units as needed, gaining diverse experience in a level I trauma center setting. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for RNs with at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, ready to demonstrate solid foundational skills in a fast-paced environment. Certifications such as BLS and an active Illinois RN license are required.
