Job Description:

Join a renowned teaching hospital as a MedSurg/Tele RN on a 13-week contract. You will be responsible for managing high-acuity spine, neuro, and post-op patients, including stroke, seizure, brain tumors, and AMS. The role involves interpreting cardiac rhythms, monitoring neuro status, managing drains and tubes, and providing post-op neuro care while educating patients and families. Expect a fast-paced environment that requires skilled assessment and pain management, including opioid administration. This setting offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, within a facility committed to excellence in trauma, stroke, and chest pain care. The unit values teamwork, quality, and safety, with a focus on preventing infections and falls. Your shift will be 12-hour nights, providing an immersive experience in acute care procedures and patient stabilization.
