Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract positions you in a bustling hospital setting, primarily working in intensive care units and general floors. The role involves providing advanced airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, and delivering aerosolized medications, often in high-stakes situations with patients experiencing acute respiratory challenges. Shifts are 12 hours during daytime hours, three days a week, with a rotation that includes every third weekend and some holidays. Occasionally, you may be asked to precept respiratory therapy students, sharing your expertise with the next generation. This assignment offers a chance to hone your critical care skills while working in a teaching hospital that values hands-on experience and professional growth.
