Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry RN on a 13-week night shift contract in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a facility with 207 licensed beds, including specialized units such as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. You'll be assigned to a specific unit, primarily 7North/South Ortho Surgical, where you'll manage general medical overflow and various surgical patients, including joint replacements and spinal surgeries. Expect to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage drips, perform trach care, and coordinate multiple procedures with a team of support staff, including CNAs, phlebotomists, and resource nurses. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing an engaging environment for those who prefer working during night hours. This position is ideal for experienced Med/Surg RNs who can adapt to floating across units and facilities as needed, applying additional ortho and spinal precautions, all while supporting patient safety and comfort.
