Job Description:

Join us for an exciting travel contract as a respiratory therapy professional in Peoria, Illinois. In this role, you will manage ventilator settings, perform advanced airway management including intubations and tracheostomy changes, and deliver a range of respiratory therapies tailored to individual patient needs. Your expertise will be crucial in interpreting physician orders, conducting bedside lab tests like ABGs, and ensuring accurate documentation of ventilator and therapy data. Expect to collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals during your shifts, which are 12 hours long overnight. This assignment provides a hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient safety and recovery.
