Job Description:

Step into this engaging 13-week contract as a PCU Registered Nurse in a mixed acuity unit that combines Progressive Care (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele), and Medical-Surgical (MS) patients. You'll be working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing specialized care to a diverse patient population including post-op surgery, trauma, ENT, and general surgery cases. This role requires hands-on experience with PCU/IMC settings within the past three years and offers an opportunity to handle a variety of complex medical conditions such as dysrhythmias, post-MI recovery, wound care, and more. The environment is fast-paced but rewarding, and you'll be part of a team managing ratios that adapt to patient acuity, with duties ranging from interpreting ABGs to managing cardiac drips and bladder irrigation.
