Job Description:
This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a rural emergency room setting that handles approximately 17,000 annual patients. The role involves providing advanced emergency care in a 10-bed ER and supporting ICU functions in a 4-bed ICU, with a focus on artline cases, CVP interventions, Bi-Paps, and vents. Shifts rotate between day and night, including three out of four weekends, giving travelers a well-balanced schedule. While the environment isn't metro-level busy, it demands adaptability and skill in managing a wide age range from newborns to centenarians. For those with at least 2 years of ER/ICU experience and current BLS & ACLS certifications, this position offers a rewarding challenge in a Level 3 Trauma designated, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
