Job Description:

Join an urgent care team in a Level III trauma center where you will leverage your three-plus years of emergency department experience to manage a diverse range of cases from neonates to geriatric patients. This role involves high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including triage assessment, medication administration via barcode scanning, managing complex medication drips, assisting with trauma and code situations, and setting up advanced procedures such as chest tubes and art lines. A solid understanding of ESI levels, pediatric emergency medicine, and point-of-care labs will set you up for success. The hospital's emergency department handles over 200 patients daily, including stroke, cardiac, behavioral health, and multi-system trauma cases. Expect to work in a dynamic zone-based setup with an EMR system (EPIC), and enjoy the flexibility of day, evening, and night shifts.
