Job Description:

Join a rewarding medical oncology team as an RN on a 13-week travel contract in Hilo, where you'll play a vital role in administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and injections. Your expertise will be key in accessing port-a-caths, PICCs, and Hickman catheters, as well as performing venipuncture and dressing changes. This position offers an engaging opportunity to carefully monitor patients’ responses to treatment and maintain detailed records, all while providing education to patients and their families about medications, side effects, and disease management. Handling hazardous drugs safely and proficiently navigating the Epic EMR are essential components of this role. Your contributions directly impact patient wellbeing in a focused, fast-paced outpatient setting, with the satisfaction of working in a vibrant Hawaiian community.
