Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ER holding unit in San Diego where your ICU expertise will be put to good use. You'll be working in the emergency department setting, managing critically ill patients who require ICU-level care. This role involves handling ICU procedures such as PICC lines, chest tubes, and telemetry, with a focus on documentation in EPIC. Float rotations include La Jolla and Hillcrest, and potentially other system-wide ICU units based on patient census. The ideal candidate has at least two years of ICU experience, is comfortable with airway management, IV starts, and advanced cardiac life support. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a setting that blends the urgency of the ER with intensive care responsibilities.
