Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Alton, Illinois, as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit. This 12-week contract offers the chance to work 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30), providing a balanced work schedule with guaranteed 36 hours per week—perfect for those who enjoy a steady routine. You'll be caring for adult patients in a 158-bed facility, floating within your scope to meet the needs of the unit, and working with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6. Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH are required, and prior experience of at least one year is necessary. This assignment welcomes first-time travelers and involves working every other weekend. Clinicians should be prepared to be on call and to utilize EPIC charting in a navy scrub uniform.
