Job Description:

Join this exciting ICU travel assignment where you'll be at the forefront of critical care on a unit specializing in neuro trauma, cardiac surgeries, and complex post-operative cases. You'll work 12-hour night shifts in a 20-bed ICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, providing advanced care for patients on drips like norepinephrine, epinephrine, and vasopressin. The role involves interpreting telemonitor strips and managing ventilators such as the Puritan Bennett 840, with physician support available 24/7 from an intensivist. Your experience and quick decision-making will be vital in supporting patients through procedures like open heart surgery, thoracotomies, and CRRT. As a seasoned ICU traveler with at least two years of ICU experience and previous travel assignments, you'll thrive in this fast-paced, high-stakes environment that values clinical expertise and independence.
