Job Description:

Join a leading respiratory care team for a 13-week contract working primarily in med/surg, ICU, and step-down units. As an RRT Respiratory Therapist, you'll be at the forefront of patient management, handling airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizers, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, Meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow systems. This role requires EPIC experience and involves nights on a 12-hour shift schedule, with the possibility of working 36 or 48 hours per week. The setting demands precision and confidence, as you'll work with adolescents to geriatrics in a large respiratory department that practices at the top of its license. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment with clinical equipment like Servo I and U, Hamilton T1, V60, Night-time VPAP, Omni-labs, V30s, and ABG machines while providing excellent respiratory care. RTO after booking is not permitted, so flexibility is key. This assignment offers the chance to experience a specialized respiratory department in a vibrant city surrounded by both urban and natural attractions.
