Job Description:

Join a specialized pediatric cardiac intensive care unit for a 17-week travel healthcare contract, where you’ll be working the overnight 12-hour night shift on weekends and providing vital support in a high-acuity environment. This role is tailored for experienced cardiac PICU nurses who thrive on critical thinking and complex patient management. You’ll be managing neonates, infants, and young children, including those with open-heart surgeries, heart transplants, and open chests. The unit is known for its focus on innovative cardiac assessments and comprehensive patient care, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable pediatric patients. Expect to float to NICU and PICU areas as needed, and bring your expertise to a setting that values skill, confidence, and compassion.
