Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical Registered Nurses on a 12-week travel contract in Columbus, Georgia. You'll be providing care to adult to geriatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs, including renal and bariatric procedures. The shift is night-focused, with 12-hour overnight hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, offering a unique opportunity to experience the quiet and calm of nighttime caregiving. This role involves working in a 33-bed unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 to 1:6, utilizing systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. You'll be part of a team that values flexibility, with floating within the facility and to sister campuses as needed. The environment combines routine medical surgical care with the nuances of telemetry, making each shift engaging and rewarding. Be prepared for some holiday work, with expectations aligned to major facility holidays, and enjoy the collaborative, fast-paced atmosphere that sets this assignment apart.
