Job Description:

Join a dedicated team providing care in a facility where your skills will be vital in managing complex medical and surgical patients. You'll be working mostly in a step-down unit with a focus on MS/Tele and PCU patients who require close monitoring and titration of multiple drips, including insulin, amiodarone, and levofed. The role involves reviewing tele strips on Mindray cardiac monitors, performing assessments, administering medications, and assisting with patient transfers and ADLs. The setting offers an opportunity to handle a variety of patient cases, including some ICU exposure, with occasional responsibilities like managing intubations—ideal for nurses eager to expand their critical care experience. Expect a supportive environment with a 1:3-5 nurse-patient ratio, and a chance to put your three years of MS/Tele experience into practice amidst a busy but rewarding hospital atmosphere.
