Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a rural Critical Access hospital in North Dakota, where you'll work a 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Room, MedSurg, or Swing Bed Unit. During this 13-week assignment, you'll engage in patient care for a diverse geriatric population, managing conditions such as dementia, post-acute illnesses, and trauma. Your responsibilities include administering IV medications, blood transfusions, and titrating medications like electrolytes and hypertensives using EPIC EMR. You'll work alongside a team with nurse aides and support staff, with a focus on team nursing and patient safety. The hospital provides all necessary scrubs and equipment, and you'll interpret heart rhythms directly. This role offers a unique chance to experience a close-knit rural community while applying your skills in a variety of clinical scenarios that keep you engaged and challenged.
