Job Description:

Join a cardiovascular stepdown unit in Albany, GA, for a rewarding 17-week travel assignment. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment, where you'll be managing patients with complex cardiac conditions such as CHF, arrhythmias, post-surgical recovery, and patients on drips like Cardizem, amiodarone, and dopamine. You will have the opportunity to interpret strips, assist with pacemaker wire placements, and float to the ICU if qualified. The unit emphasizes teamwork and efficiency, with an average census of 32-38 patients, including frequent discharges and admits. Experience in Stepdown units and the ability to read telemetry strips are essential. This assignment provides a unique chance to enhance your skills in a specialized cardiac setting while working with a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care.
