Job Description:

Join a high-flow cardiac and stroke unit in Omaha as a registered nurse, where you'll experience a lively environment filled with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour night shifts, and you'll be vital in managing adult patients arriving through the ER, including a mix of medical, surgical, cardiac, and stroke cases. Your role will involve titrating IV drips like Heparin, insulin, and octreotide, interpreting telemetry monitors, and working closely with a team of patient care technicians and charge nurses. The unit is equipped with code carts, LUCAS machines, and Hoyer lifts, providing all the tools you need to deliver exceptional care. The schedule requires teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude—plus, you'll get a chance to work alongside dedicated professionals in an environment that thrives on collaboration.
