Job Description:

Join a fast-paced medical-surgical unit as a Registered Nurse specializing in adult to geriatric care. In this 12-week contract, you’ll be handling intermediate level monitoring with patients admitted via direct or emergency room admissions. Your focus will be on delivering patient-centered care in a unit where telemetry is hardwired and self-monitored by staff. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 12-hour night schedule, with a typical census of 1:4 and a 12-bed unit setting. This assignment offers a chance to work with a collaborative team and develop your skills in managing conditions like dysrhythmias, CHF, stroke symptoms, ACS, and myocardial ischemia. All while enjoying a role that’s engaging without being overwhelming, with a manageable patient ratio and a supportive environment that values teamwork and efficiency.
