Job Description:

Join an esteemed healthcare facility in a vital ICU role within the Northwestern Arizona region, set amidst the striking landscape of the Colorado Plateau. You will be providing critical nursing care to patients in a 5-bed ICU setting, with periodic float assignments to the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatric units during times of low census. This position challenges you to utilize your extensive ICU experience to manage critically ill patients across all ages, including post-operative recovery care. Expect to work independently, applying your professional knowledge to support patients and their families through complex health situations in a culturally rich community. The setting offers a unique opportunity to practice in a hospital serving Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes, among diverse staff, in a semi-desert environment with breathtaking elevation variations and stunning desert vistas.
