Job Description:

This PCU Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding contract opportunity working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit. You will be floating between approximately five different units, including Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU departments, across multiple metro campuses. Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting dysrhythmias, managing complex cardiovascular cases like pre/post cardiac caths, and providing care for patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, and renal failure. The role involves quick thinking and adaptability, with a chance to experience a variety of clinical scenarios while contributing to patient recovery and stability. Expect to work weekends, with a schedule that combines Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts, and a guaranteed minimum of three shifts every three weeks. This position is ideal for nurses eager to broaden their scope and skills in a dynamic environment.
