Job Description:

Join a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit on the beautiful island of Hilo for an engaging RN contract. This role involves providing primary nursing care and telemetry monitoring for patients in a combined Step Down ICU and telemetry setting. You'll handle a mix of procedures including telemetry strip reading, fingerstick blood sugars, and operating advanced equipment like BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitors. The scheduled hours are 36 per week with no call requirement, offering stability and a chance to hone your skills in a diverse environment that may include floating to other acute units such as medical, surgical/peds, ICU, or ER. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant setting where your expertise will be essential in maintaining patient safety and comfort.
