Job Description:

Join a unique adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit on a locked, fourth-floor facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. In this role, you will provide essential nursing support during 12-hour night shifts, caring for patients with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The environment encourages nurses to be actively involved in patient rounds and interventions, meaning you won't just be at the station — you'll be engaging directly with patients and supporting their behavioral needs. Experience with acute inpatient mental health settings and strong de-escalation skills are required. While IV experience is a plus, it's rarely needed. This contract offers a chance to work in the only adolescent inpatient unit in the region, making each shift a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in young lives.
