Job Description:

This contract role is designed for experienced behavioral health RNs who thrive in a fast-paced, youth-focused environment. You'll be working in a 23-bed adolescent unit that manages patients with challenging behaviors, including aggression, impulsivity, trauma, and abuse histories. Your responsibilities will include de-escalation, milieu management, administering IM medications, and making critical decisions during escalated situations. The shifts are 12 hours long during the day, providing ample opportunity to develop a routine and build rapport with both patients and team members. This assignment offers the chance to deepen your skills in managing complex psychiatric cases while working alongside a supportive leadership team committed to safety and operational flexibility. If you are adept at handling multiple patients simultaneously and comfortable with physical holds, restraints, and seclusion procedures, this role will be a meaningful and rewarding experience.
