Job Description:

Join the operating room team in Augusta for a 14-week contract as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. You will circulate and scrub in a busy main OR setting, working on procedures including general, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, and colorectal surgeries. This role offers the chance to gain experience with advanced technology like DaVinci XI robots while managing an average of 35 cases daily across 16 rooms. You'll be responsible for supporting surgeons and operating room staff throughout complex procedures, ensuring a smooth surgical flow from start to finish. The day shift runs 12 hours from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with opportunities for call duties and occasional weekend shifts. Your expertise will help keep the OR functioning seamlessly in a hospital dedicated to patient-centered care. This assignment is an excellent fit for seasoned OR nurses or those new to the specialty looking to expand their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
