Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita as a Pre-Op RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role places you in the Pre-Op Holding / ASU unit, where you'll prepare patients for surgery through procedures like outpatient infusions, EKGs, blood transfusions, and various outpatient services. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, engaging directly with patients and coordinating care alongside a skilled staff in a well-equipped environment featuring Meditech EMR and advanced tools such as GE MACVU EKG machines and Dopplers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced setting that values clear communication and patient comfort, all while exploring the unique sights and sounds of Wichita.

During your shift, you'll be managing patient flow, assisting with preoperative tasks, and ensuring each patient feels prepared and cared for before surgery.
