Job Description:

Join the team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for an inpatient observation unit contract, where you'll work on a 12-hour night shift with shifts rotating between day and night hours. This assignment offers the unique experience of floating across various inpatient units, including step-down and telemetry, managing a diverse patient caseload that includes conditions like COPD, CHF, dehydration, and pre-op cases. You'll interpret EKG strips, handle drips such as Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin, and navigate an environment that values resilience, independence, and a positive attitude. This role is perfect for skilled RNs with three years of experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and managing changes efficiently—plus, you'll enjoy the chance to test your charting skills in EPIC and participate in a flexible, engaging work experience that emphasizes teamwork and patient advocacy.

Job Specifics:

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Shift: 12-hour nights, rotating day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks, with approximately 36 hours guaranteed per week
