Job Description:

Join a specialized team as a Respiratory Therapist in a short-term acute care hospital setting in Bridgeport, CT. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), floating between facilities as needed across all hospital units, including the NICU and pediatric departments. You will bring your experience with advanced respiratory equipment such as Draeger vents, high-frequency jet, and neonatal oscillating vents, providing critical support within Level II Trauma environments. This role emphasizes technical expertise in neuro diagnostics and ventilator management, offering a chance to engage deeply with complex respiratory therapies and support neonatal and pediatric patients during your shift. The position also involves orienting new staff and working every other weekend and holiday as part of the schedule.
