Job Description:

Join a specialized neuro ICU team in Albuquerque for a 13-week travel contract as an ICU Registered Nurse. You'll provide advanced neurological patient care for conditions like TBI, SAH, SDH, tumors, and status epilepticus during 12-hour night shifts. The role may include floating to other ICUs, PCU floors, or ED to meet unit needs, offering a variety of clinical experiences in a level I trauma and teaching hospital setting. Prior neuro ICU experience of at least 1.5 years is required, and certifications such as ACLS, BCLS, and NIH are essential. This position is an excellent opportunity for those comfortable with complex neurological care and equipment, including EVDs, A-lines, and CRRT. Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hourly Commitment: 48 hours per week
Weekly Gross: approximately $2,473.90
Note: The assignment may include floating within scope to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED, or PACU based on unit needs. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant neuro ICU experience, and be comfortable with technical skills such as ICP management, EVD insertions, and managing dysrhythmias. COVID vaccination required, with exemptions accepted through proper documentation. Travelers will adhere to a no-local policy within 100 miles and are expected to work with a flexible schedule, accommodating block shifts when possible.
