Job Description:

This ICU float nurse role places you at the heart of Denver's surrounding hospitals, where flexibility and clinical expertise are your best tools. You'll provide critical care across a variety of ICU settings, including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU, often handling high-acuity patients with complex needs such as high-level ventilator management, titrating critical drips, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Expect to work in environments without a single designated home base, floating within Zone 3—around Denver City Center—covering hospitals like OrthoColorado and St. Anthony. Your shifts will be 12 hours long during the night, offering a chance to gain diverse experience while engaging in a fast-paced, challenge-packed setting. Prior travel experience or at least three years of ICU background paired with Epic experience is preferred. You’ll be expected to master ventilator care, titrate medications, and support respiratory needs as RNs are often involved in troubleshooting and managing vents, BiPaps, and CPaPs. This isn’t your typical routine hospital assignment but an opportunity to sharpen your skills in a variety of critical care environments.
